My client is a global software solutions provider looking for an Account Manager to join their team to deliver and maintain innovative enterprise application solutions for clients in high profile vertical market sectors, in particular the Central Government, Rail and Transport sectors .
This role will be focused on managing a portfolio of client accounts.
You will have responsibility for protecting and growing these accounts commercially and will hold key relationships between our organisation and our clients. You will need to operate and communicate with day-to-day business and application leads up to Director level, and onsite presence from time to time is also important. Negotiating mutually beneficial business positions and maintaining excellent client relationships here is paramount. In addition, the role will require a good understanding of our technical solution and a strong appreciation of the value of team-play internally between different departments.

Core skills, knowledge and experience required
- Strong understanding of, and demonstrable key account management expertise
- Excellent communication & inter-personal skills
- Strong written, presentation and numerical ability
- Comfortable with technology, previous knowledge of Enterprise Software preferred
- Previous experience with public sector, care and/or construction preferred
