Accountant

Your new company
You will be joining a business based in central Cambridge that champions sustainability and operates in a sector that continues to grow quickly. You will be joining as their new Accountant and this job opportunity is available on a full-time, permanent basis.
Your new role
You will be joining a small finance team, so this is a role that gives you lots of exposure with the duties being varied. At the more senior end, this role includes supporting in the preparation of management accounts, financial reporting and preparing board reports, as well as being involved in some basic bookkeeping and providing support to the transactional finance team.
What you\'ll need to succeed
In order to be successful, the key attributes you will need include:

• Good all-round accounting knowledge, with proven experience of management accounts preparation
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (V look-ups and pivot tables), as well as good computer literacy in general
• An enthusiastic personality with a \'can do\' attitude, including a willingness to support with some of the more basic work.

• £40,000 - £60,000 salary, depending on experience
• 25 Days holiday plus bank holidays
• Hybrid working - 3 days office, 2 days home
