MCS Group are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing practice in South Belfast, looking for an Accountant to come in as a Manager within the practice with a clear progression route.
The Company:
Our client is a long-standing mid-tier practice that provides a range of accounting services to a wide variety of clients. A general practice that punches well above it's weight in terms of clients, they work with 2 of the top 100 NI companies in addition to a wide variety of clients across an array of sectors. The practice provides everything from accounts (statutory and management), audit, tax, payroll, VAT and outsourced finance to their significant client base.

The Role:
The successful accountant will have the following duties:
- Working with clients across all areas (Accounts, Audit, Tax etc.)
- Taking company accounts from start to finish
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Managing and training juniors during projects/assignments
- Signing off on audits
- Other duties as outlined in the full description
The Person:
The successful accountant will meet the following criteria:
- ACA/ACCA Qualified
- Previous experience in a small-mid tier practice
- Experience in Accounts and Audit
- Experience is Tax is desired but not essential
- Varied exposure across a range of duties and clients
- A drive to progress their career
- Previous management experience is desired but not essential
