We are recruiting an Accounts and Office Administrator to join our team at Prime Appointments head office in Witham! This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 40 hours per week (flexible hours) and paying a salary of 26,000 - 28,000 depending on relevant skills & experience.
Supporting the Admin & Accounts Team, your key duties include but are not limited to:
Office & Reception duties:
- Handle incoming calls to the company, dealing with any queries and passing over accurate information.
- Meet and greet customers on arrival to the office.
- Verify identification paperwork when people visit the office and scan this onto the system
- Posting of job adverts and formatting CV for recruiters.
- Respond to e-mails from internal staff and assist the Senior Admin's with any compliance paperwork.
- Assist with simple marketing tasks, from time to time when the marketing department is busy.
- Ordering stationery.
- Order the weekly online Tesco shop.
- Support the wider team with general admin; be prepared to learn on the job and look to expand your knowledge as you are trained.
Accounts duties (Training will be given):
- Review and approve temporary workers timesheets.
- Process all holiday request timesheets.
- Process weekly payroll for 60 -70 temporary staff (training given on this).
- Answer any accounts queries that may arise regarding timesheets, wages and holiday via the telephone and email.
- Assist credit control from time to time by speaking with customers chasing overdue invoices.
- Processing new starters & leavers paperwork - with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidently analyse data to input correctly into spreadsheets and generate data reports.
- Processing payments for Senior Payroll person to then process.
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties in the Accounts department.
Key Skills & Attribute's required to be considered for this Accounts and Office Administratorposition:
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Organised, accurate and great multitasker
- Enthusiastic and pro-active nature
- Microsoft Office including Excel knowledge are essential
- Team Player and happy to help attitude
- Experience working in a previous Accounts, Admin and Secretarial role or similar desirable
