Kingswood Group are currently supporting a Braintree business in the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant. Working in a friendly team of six, the successful applicant will have previous experience working within accounts and an office environment. You will be a real team player who has a willingness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude.
Key duties will include;
- Processing of invoices from suppliers
- Updating spreadsheet for payments, checking PO are correct
- Ensuring invoices are allocated to payments correctly
- Processing unreconciled reconciliations
- Manual bank reconciliations
- Credit Card statement reconciliations
- Processing the journal entries
- Dealing with queries from wider team
Key Attributes required:
- Previous experience working within a similar role
- Studier or looking to study AAT
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Strong IT skills, including Excel
- Good communication skills
