NXTGEN have got another brilliant opportunity for a part-time Accounts Assistant (3 days/22.5 hours) to join a fantastic global business at their base in Newbury, on an initial 12-month FTC. The organisation has been going through a long-period of positive change and this opportunity is more evidence of that, with them looking to add to their finance team again. As Accounts Assistant, you will be working closely with the Finance Manager to assist with the daily running of the finance department. Some more of the key tasks and responsibilities are listed below.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with month and year end duties
- Matching purchase invoices for payment runs
- Monitoring and raising sales invoices
- Chasing outstanding debtors and escalating where necessary
- Processing purchase orders and bank reconciliations
- Any other ad-hoc finance duties requested by the Finance Manager
The ideal candidate will need to have prior experience working in a similar Accounts Assistant role, or more specifically, a role that covers both AP and AR. With this being a 12-month FTC, it will suit somebody who can come in and get on with the role, with limited time for training. It is also essential to having working knowledge of SAGE 50 and the more common Microsoft packages.
