My client, an industry-leader in a niche market, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to help document and maintain the business’ finance processes & procedures, updating and implementing them wherever necessary.
The successful candidate will have proven success in a Finance/Accounts role and looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly payroll
- Adhering to payroll processing deadlines
- Data inputting into accounting software – new starters, overtime and other ad-hoc payments
- Act as first point of contact for finance/accounts related queries
- Covering for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable when necessary
Essential Skills:
- Proven 1 years’ experience in accounting administrative or similar position
- Willingness to further your finance career and to gain professional qualifications
- Numerate, strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards
- Strong capability of planning, prioritising, and meeting deadlines
- Motivated and self-efficient individual
- Proficiency in Microsoft Packages, SharePoint, and finance systems, ideally Sage 500
Package:
- £12.85 - £14.40 per hour PAYE
- Up to 3-month contract
