Accounts Assistant

Assistant Accountant - £25-30k - Fulltime - Warrington

This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join an experienced team. This company is a well established construction company, offering a great package including hybrid working.

Duties of the vacancy

· Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets

· Process accounts payable and receivable transactions

· Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

· Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial filings

· Support the month-end and year-end closing processes

· Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information

Desired Skills

· Experience as an Assistant Accountant is preferred

· Experience in accounting software such as Sage would be beneficial

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis

· Strong analytics and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
