This prestigious global organisation based in Farnborough is currently going through a period of expansion and as a result of this they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team to help support the needs of the business.
This is a full-time permanent role which would suit someone who has at least 1 - 2 years' previous experience working in an accounts department and who is looking to progress their career in accounts and finance.

Accounts Assistant - About the Role
The Accounts Assistant role will play a key role in all aspects of the day to day running of the finance department. The role will suit someone good at multi-tasking who is able to prioritise and manage responsibilities to ensure support is provided and deadlines are met.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Review coding and VAT treatment of purchase invoices, correcting where necessary
- Assist in weekly payment run calculations, identifying vendors needing payment
- Set up daily payments for operators with required approvals
- Liaise with other departments to ensure payments are received from clients before operators are paid
- Download and prepare daily finance reports
- Confirm vendor bank details and address invoice queries
- Allocate payments to vendor invoices and update payment tracker daily
- Assist with bank reconciliation
- Reconcile age creditors report, following up past due items
- Review and code expenses
- Handle general accounts inbox queries
The successful Accounts Assistant will have/be:
- 1 - 2 years of experience working in a finance team
- Strong numerical skills with excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in multitasking and prioritising workloads
- Ideally part-qualified or actively pursuing CIMA/ACCA certification
