Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Practice)

Location: Farnborough

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant with a background in practice accounting? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team in Farnborough!

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Assistant in our practice, you will play a vital role in supporting our client's financial needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing payroll accurately and efficiently using Brightpay software
• Managing client accounts using Xero and QuickBooks, ensuring data integrity and compliance
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other client deliverable
• Conducting bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Providing administrative support to the wider team as needed.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in a practice environment, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in payroll processing, preferably using Brightpay software.
• Experience working with Xero and QuickBooks accounting software.
• A Level 3 or Level 4 AAT qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time, office-based position located in Farnborough.
• The salary for this role is £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
