Our client is a large private equity backed business. You will be based from one of its head offices which is based in Lincoln City Centre.
Description
You will be working as part of a team of 5 and will be reporting into the Financial Controller, but will be working closely with the Senior Accounts Assistant. Once you have received all of the necessary training your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Processing financial transactions onto the accounting system, including purchase ledger, sales ledger and general ledger
- Reconciling the bank
- Processing purchase invoices
- Processing employee's expenses
- Supporting with preparing financial statement, including cashflow statements, P&L and balance sheets
- Assisting with month end duties e.g. journals, accruals and reconciliations
- Supporting with audit
- Supporting with ad hoc finance projects
Profile
To apply for the position, you do not need experience of all the above, as training will be provided. However, you must:
- have some experience of working in finance
- have the ability to work as part of a supportive and freindly team
