Form of workAccounts Assistant – Property Sector - £25-28k (Hybrid working) - HampshireAre you an Accounts Assistant with EITHER property accounting exposure (rents, Service Charges etc.) OR an interest in progressing your career in a property environment?Do you have experience of double entry bookkeeping with strong IT skills and a desire to learn?We’re working with one of the largest Property Services Groups in Europe, whose UK operations span Leasehold & Freehold Management, Asset Management and Ground Rent Administration nationwide.Within their Property Accounts Team they now seek an enthusiastic, career minded Accounts Assistant who will utilise double entry bookkeeping (and the accuracy that accompanies it) as follows:* Hybrid working (2-3 days from home once settled)* Working as part of the Service Charge Accounts Team, dealing with Service Charges relating to leasehold flats under management* Ensuring all Accounts & Budgets are issued on time, are accurate and are of highest quality.* Analysing financial reports, including data on income and expenditure and balance sheet.* Answering resident queries relating to service charge demands* Maintaining the in-house system with details of payments made/received to/from residents, contractors etc.* Any other tasks as and when required to enable the smooth running of the service charge accounts department.* Whilst AAT/ACCA would be advantageous, it is not essential and can be supported in post for those keen to qualify and progress their career further.Suitable Accounts Assistants will come from a stable career background, have a genuine interest in (or previous exposure to) property accounting and excellent all round IT awareness (full training provided on bespoke inhouse systems)In addition to a structured career path and ongoing professional development the successful Accounts Assistant can expect a basic salary up to £28k to start with ongoing reviews and uplifts based on tenure and performance.If you are a competent Accounts Assistant with a genuine interest in Property Accounts, meet the above criteria and reside within Hampshire, please apply now for immediate consideration and further info
