Our client, a pioneering artistic creative agency are looking for a dynamic Finance Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis.
Based in Kentish Town, this is an excellent opportunity to work for an exciting and growing company with a vibrant company culture.
They are looking for someone to join their team on a part-time basis working 3 days a week (1 day a week in the office).
It is a permanent position paying £33,000-£37,000 (pro-rata)
Accounts Payable (AP):
• Process supplier invoices accurately and within set timeframes.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Review and reconcile staff expenses and company card expenses.
• Prepare payment runs in compliance with payment terms.
• Collaborate with various departments for invoice approvals.
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns in collaboration with the finance team.
• Conduct bank, credit card, and expense platform reconciliations, including intercompany transactions.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Registers and manage Depreciation schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
• Issue and dispatch invoices to clients promptly.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
• Manage overdue payments and communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances.
• Keep accurate transaction records and monitor AR aging.
• Handle document and contract management
Job Costing
• Manage job closures, review WIP, and report on pipeline and profitability.
• System Management
Required Skills & Qualifications
• At least 12 months' Accounts experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
