Accounts Assistant – North Lanarkshire – up to £32,000
 
Meraki Talent are delighted to be engaged on the role of an Accounts Assistant for a market leading and well-respected business based in Glasgow. The salary is up to £32,000.
 
The Role
 
As an Accounts Assistant you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and responsible for the daily processing of key accounts functions such as bank, purchase ledger and group intercompany reconciliations. You will also be responsible for elements of the month end process, preparing management accounts, and balance sheet reconciliations.
 
You will be involved in the following duties

• Preparation of monthly expenditure reports
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing and maintaining Purchase Ledger invoices
• Posting month-end journals
• Agreeing Intercompany balances and reconciliations
• Preparing and processing bank payments and bank reconciliations
• Processing invoices, matching POs, coding invoices

 Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in an Accounts role.
• Great communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• A proactive and process-driven approach.
• Good levels of numeracy and literacy.
• Team player who works well meeting daily and month end demands.
