Key Responsibilities of an Accounts Manager
- Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
- Preparing Annual Budgets and Cash Flow Projections
- Assist in preparation the Statuary Accounts
- Managing all routine Accounting Functions
- Provide analysis of Key Management Data as required.
- Responsible for Accounts, Payable, Cash Transactions and Weekly Payroll
- Completing HMRC returns
- Producing Monthly Management Reports
- Control of the Purchase Order Process
- Pension Returns
- Analysis of KPI
Key Competencies of an Accounts Manager
- Have a very practical understanding of Management Accounting Principles and Techniques
- Ability to Manage Workload and Time
- Good Communications Skills
- Have Advanced Excel Skills (not Macros)
- Have a Practical and down to earth Approach to tasks
- Experience of Pegasus Opera and XRL Reporting Tools (Desirable)
- Experience of Manufacturing Industry (Desirable)
