An Accounts Payable role has opened in an industrious manufacturing environment on a temporary basis for maternity cover. The role requires a dedicated team member in the Accounting & Finance department to assist with processing and managing the company's expenses.

Description

• Processing and verifying invoices in a timely manner.
• Performing account reconciliations.
• Assisting with month-end closing.
• Preparing payments for vendors.
• Maintaining accurate records and control reports.
• Responding to vendor inquiries about payment issues.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to the Accounts Payable process.
• Collaborating with the team in the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable should have:

• A qualification in Accounting, Finance or qualified by experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Strong numerical skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Exceptional organisational skills.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
