Our client a prestigious business based in Fernhurst near Haslemere is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Account Assistant to join the team. Good Hybrid working pattern available
Job Description
As the Accounts Payable Account Assistant you will be responsible for
- Posting all supplier invoices
- Match invoices/credits to purchase orders.
- Follow up disputed invoices with suppliers and ensure disputes are resolved.
- Ensure all outstanding invoices are processed before purchase ledger close down dates.
- Opening of supplier accounts.
- Ensuring that the supplier accounts held on our system are updated correctly and all bank details, company names and addresses are current.
- Make BACs payments to suppliers.
- Reconcile statements.
- Process staff expenses payments
The Successful Applicant
- Experience in Accounts Payable is required
- Ability to work on own initiative and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multitask.
- Good IT skills including excel.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly motivated, and detail orientated
- An ability to work to strict deadlines
- You can be studying for an Accountancy qualification but its not essential
