Job Description
- Manage accounts payable and primarily responsible for processing and paying expenses invoices after obtaining approval from appropriate departments.
- You will also be involved with accounts payable for stock, matching invoices to GRN'S on the system.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices
- Dealing with supplier queries and monthly reconciliation
- Coordinate with team members to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Ledger updates and general book keeping duties
- Running reports on supplier payment runs on a weekly and Monthly basis.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable/Accounts Assistant should have:
- A degree in accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Strong communication skills
