Day to day duties for the Accounts Payable Administrator will include:
- Scanning and transferring invoices for processing
- Processing of invoices and dealing with rejections
- Carrying out payment runs
- Producing credit transfers
- Funding shortfall report
- Dealing with queries
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Reviewing and clearing the Accounts Payable inbox
Essential requirements for the Accounts Payable Administrator role:
- Strong desire to work within accounts and studying for a related account qualification
- A confident team player with an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and numeracy
- A self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative and to deadlines
- Strong communication and people skills, including verbal and written communications
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Previous accounts experience would be a distinct advantage
The salary for this position is GBP21,255 per annum, the client also offers great benefits which includes 25 days holiday, a pension scheme, support with any professional qualifications & great career prospects. This is an office-based role working Monday - Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm.
