Day to day duties for the Accounts Payable Administrator will include:

• Scanning and transferring invoices for processing
• Processing of invoices and dealing with rejections
• Carrying out payment runs
• Producing credit transfers
• Funding shortfall report
• Dealing with queries
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Reviewing and clearing the Accounts Payable inbox

Essential requirements for the Accounts Payable Administrator role:

• Strong desire to work within accounts and studying for a related account qualification
• A confident team player with an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and numeracy
• A self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative and to deadlines
• Strong communication and people skills, including verbal and written communications
• Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Previous accounts experience would be a distinct advantage

The salary for this position is GBP21,255 per annum, the client also offers great benefits which includes 25 days holiday, a pension scheme, support with any professional qualifications & great career prospects. This is an office-based role working Monday - Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm.
