Accounts Payable Assistant

The role of an Accounts Payable Assistant 12 month fixed term contract is crucial to maintain smooth financial operations within our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will be processing invoices and payments, performing account reconciliations, and providing financial assistance to the wider team.

Description

• Accurate processing and recording of company's invoices and payments
• Perform regular account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
• Contribute to month-end reporting and assist with audits
• Liaise with vendors and resolve any financial queries
• Maintain up-to-date financial records in line with company's policies
• Provide financial help and assistance to the wider team
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Accounts Payable function
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as required

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and SAP
• Strong knowledge of accounting and Accounts Payable processes
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a team as well as proactively alone.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders

Job Offer
