The role of an Accounts Payable Assistant 12 month fixed term contract is crucial to maintain smooth financial operations within our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will be processing invoices and payments, performing account reconciliations, and providing financial assistance to the wider team.

Description
- Accurate processing and recording of company's invoices and payments
- Perform regular account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Contribute to month-end reporting and assist with audits
- Liaise with vendors and resolve any financial queries
- Maintain up-to-date financial records in line with company's policies
- Provide financial help and assistance to the wider team
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Accounts Payable function
- Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as required
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and SAP
- Strong knowledge of accounting and Accounts Payable processes
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as proactively alone.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders
