Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to process invoices, expenses and payments within the busy Finance department of a global asset management firm.
This is an entry level role open to bright and ambitious applicants with limited or no exposure to financial services to start their careers in the investment management industry and gain the skills and experience required to progress their careers within the industry.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Process a high volume of invoices and monitor the approval process to ensure timely payments;
Work closely with the Purchasing team to ensure Purchase Orders have been issued before invoices are received.
Reconciliation of supplier statements;
Answering internal or external invoice and payment queries;
Monitor AP email inboxes;
Assisting with weekly and periodic reporting requirements
Support ad hoc requests from Finance.
Qualifications & Experience
Have a basic understanding of the Accounts Payable process;
Prior work experience within Accounts Payable is preferable but not essential;
Knowledge of Workday Financials or any other Finance system is preferable but not essential.
