My Manchester based client is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, they operate a hybrid working policy and have other regional teams based worldwide you may also work closely with too.
Responsibilities:

• Carry out all Accounts Payable duties.
• Raising client invoices and charging clients credit cards.
• Assist any other members of staff with queries and invoicing.
• Download and reconcile company credit cards.
• Manage enquires in the relevant mailboxes and provide query resolution.
• Produce periodic reports for stakeholders as requested/when required.
• Work with other teams within the Finance department.
• Assisting with month end and year-end including audit related preparation
• Liaising with members of the Finance team overseas as and when needed
• Help test/prepare for new system implementations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within an Accounts Payable + Accounts Receivable
• Accounting experience within the Travel industry
• Knowledge of Travcom/other finance travel packages preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills or higher
