A diligent Accounts Payable Assistant is required for an industrial/manufacturing company based in Middleton Manchester. This is an immediate start temporary to permanent role.

Description
The Accounts Payable role is a temporary assignment initially which could go permanent and will be based 4 days per week in the Middleton office with the opportunity for 1 day per week remote working.
Reporting to the Finance Manager Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices and reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders.
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries.
- Process business expense returns.
- Cashbook and petty cash cheques.
- Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
Profile
In order to apply for the role you should:
- Have previous experience in Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger
- Be available to consider a temporary role initially
- Be able to commute to Middleton office
