We are excited to be working with a thriving, Global business based in Coventry. This market leading business continue to dominate in their sector and through the use of innovative technology and expert in house knowledge they will continue to exceed customer expectations and grow their business. They are on the lookout for a results driven Accounts Payable professional to join their supportive finance team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth processing of purchase invoices, alongside a range of other tasks whilst keeping a focus on continuous improvement.
Responsibilities Include:
- Processing of purchase invoices - PO and Non PO based
- Managing workflow for queries and approval of invoices.
- Carrying out statement reconciliations
- Managing queries from vendors and multiple sites.
- Taking an active role in stakeholder meetings to resolve disputes and build relationships.
- Carry out root cause analysis to eliminate future problems with vendors.
- Ensuring the integrity of financial data
Candidate Skills and Attributes:
- Minimum of two years previous experience working in an Accounts Payable or similar role.
- Confident communicator with colleagues at all levels and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Analytical mind set and able to identify discrepancies, resolve and prevent future issues.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Enthusiastic team player who can also work on own initiative.
- Organised and meticulous.
- Competent Excel user
- Previous experience with SAP or other ERP system is desirable.
