Accounts Payable Assistant

My client is within the Professional Services industry and they have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis in this newly created role.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, your responsibilities will include the processing of invoices, dealing with supplier queries, supplier statement reconciliation, and preparing for the monthly payment run. This an exceptional opportunity for someone already working within Accounts Payable who is looking to join a business that will offer the opportunity to expand upon their skill set by taking on additional duties within accounts whilst having your studies for your AAT supported.

• At least 6 months experience within a transactional finance role, ideally Accounts Payable
• Be looking to join a business for the long term where you can expand upon your experience and progress internally whilst pursuing your AAT studies should you wish
• Have an excellent attention to detail and be able to work at pace, whilst retaining accuracy
• Have exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently to suppliers building relationships as you go

• Hybrid working environment; 1-2 days a week in impressive, centrally located offices with excellent access to public transport links
