Accounts Payable Clerk
Oldham - Hybrid
Salary up to £27,500
Medlock Partners are delighted to partnering with a fantastic market leading SME. They have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing £30m t/o business in a varied role with the support of an impressive team.
Benefit from a hybrid working model whilst working for a growing market leading SME that invests heavily in its technology and people. You will be in a varied role which will blend a classic Accounts Payable Clerk duties as well as having some HR and Admin duties.
Duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk:
* Responsible for supplier invoice processing
* This role encompasses supplier invoice posting, managing payment runs, reconciliation of statements & payments, management of the purchase order process, general ledger reconciliation, credit card and expense reconciliation as well as resolving queries
* Posting invoices (both overheads and cost of sales)
* Producing, reviewing, and processing payment runs as well as other one-offs
* Reconciling supplier payments
* Managing the purchase order process, producing PO's, ensuring approvals are in place and comparing with budget
* Monitoring the Accounts Payable queries inbox and resolving queries via e-mail and phone
* Reconciling cost of sales card expenses and supplier statements by using Excel to analyse large volumes of data.
* Assisting with other ad-hoc HR or admin queries to support the team
For this role we will consider candidates who are looking for full time hours as well as 30 hours per week should that be the preference.
