Job Title: Exciting Opportunity: Activities Coordinator Wanted in Caterham!
Location: Caterham, Surrey
Salary: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (9:00 am - 5:00 pm, occasional weekends)
What You'll Be Doing: (but not limited to)
- Get to know residents on a personal level and design custom-tailored activity plans that cater to their interests and needs.
- Let your creativity shine as you plan and execute a diverse range of events and outings, from arts and crafts workshops to exciting day trips.
- Collaborate closely with the Manager to orchestrate entertaining social events and dynamic marketing functions that showcase the heart and soul of our home.
- Keep things running smoothly by maintaining meticulous records, managing equipment inventories, and seizing opportunities for positive press coverage.
- Play a pivotal role in fundraising initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
What Our Client Is Looking For:
- Previous experience in a care environment is a must, but what's essential is your passion for organising activities and events that bring people together.
- A warm and empathetic personality paired with top-notch communication skills - you're a natural at making everyone feel welcome and valued.
- The resilience to tackle challenges head-on and the dedication to go above and beyond to create meaningful moments.
- The client will complete a full DBS check (due to the nature of the industry its expected!) and a valid driver's license with own transport is a must (due to location)
