Description
Breedon is a leading construction and materials group in Ireland and Great Britain. We operate 2 cement plants, over 100 quarries, 50 asphalt plants, 170 ready-mixed concrete plants, as well as a range of contract surfacing and other essential products to help our customers build the places where we all live, work, and play.
Key Responsibilities
The following reflect the main duties associated with this role and are not intended to be exclusive and exhaustive:
- Processing of sales orders onto IT system for dispatch
- Dealing with customer issues and queries
- Handling of incoming calls from customers and any other source
- Helping with dispatch duties in times of absence or high volume
- Checking the accuracy of orders before dispatch
- Liaise with the dispatch department to ensure timely deliveries
- Update of stock system for goods received on site
- Scanning & sending PODs
- Document filing
- Incoming/Outgoing post
- Maintain office supplies
- General Admin duties
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience in admin setting
- Experience of maintaining manual and computerised files
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to prioritise administrative tasks and work independently
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
