Calling all Administrators! fantastic opportunity for one of the largest transport organisations as an Admin Transport Support Officer!
Role Overview:
The job has responsibility for providing the support functions necessary to manage access to the assisted transport services that TfL provides: Dial-a-Ride, Capital Call and the Travel Mentoring service. The job also has responsibility for providing specialist technical information, advice and guidance to customers about appropriate use of assisted transport services, and the promotion of accessible mainstream public transport options where appropriate.
Key Information:
- Hourly Rate: £14.84 per hour
- Location: Elephant & Castle, London (fully office based)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 35 hours a week
- Contract Duration: 2 months (view to extend)
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide administrative support to projects and improvement initiatives related to assisted transport services
- Be the first point of contact and provide advice to potential assisted transport users to guide them to the most appropriate services for their needs
- Ensure applications to join assisted transport services are completed processed effectively and efficiently to agreed timescales
- Respond to queries ensuring timely responses are provided, using standard template responses, to staff and customer feedback relating to assisted transport services
- Responsible for contributing towards TfL's Health and Safety culture by resolving or escalating safety related issues arising out of customer inquiries, membership applications or staff and customer feedback promptly, in line with Surface Transport safety vision of 'Everyone home safe and healthy every day'.
