Administration Officer

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a European Maritime and Fisheries Fund Administration Officer for an initial 3 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of GBP115-GBP125/day (Inside IR35). This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office. Responsibilities:- Processing grant claims - Identifying and collating responses to audit reports, both current and historic, to ensure audit findings have been addressed. - Assisting with the production of internal and external financial and non-financial statements. - Calculation, initiation and ongoing review of overpayment recoveries. - Managing a programme of post-project monitoring arrangements. Essential Skills:- European grant claims - UK Public Sector finance - Scottish Government - Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail. - Understanding of public sector auditing arrangements - Knowledge and extensive previous use of Microsoft Office applications If you would like to hear more about this opportunity, please get in touch.
