Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join Barnsley Council’s Children’s Services Department on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Processing incoming referrals and applying rules and guidelines as required
* Inputting confidential data into internal database systems
* Responding to incoming telephone and face-to-face enquiries
* Providing advice and guidance to customers
* Signposting to a range of internal and external customers as required
* Processing financial purchasing and invoicing transactions for goods and services
* Arranging meetings and recording proceedings onto a laptop
Requirements:
* Previous experience of working within a business support team, ideally within a large-scale environment
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* IT skills with the ability to use MS Office Applications
