As a result of the retirement of our existing Administrator, Herefordshire Rural Hub are seeking a friendly, approachable and proactive self-starter to join our team. This role has the opportunity to develop and expand its remit over time as our organization continues to grow. The role of Administrator is key to supporting our day to day operations with the ideal candidate contributing knowledge and experience to enable this to be undertaken effectively. This role enables delivery of the Hub’s projects and core functions, managing our CRM system, co-ordinating events, office management and administrative support to the team at Herefordshire Rural Hub.
Job title: Administrator
Location: Combination of office and remote working. Expected to work at Hub office at least once a week by mutual agreement.
Salary range: £22,500-£25,500 pro rata (depending on experience)
Contract: Fixed term contract to March 2025.
Hours of work: 15 hours / week
Travel: Mileage paid at HMRC rate (currently 45p per mile) for delivery of the role within the county or for designated tasks elsewhere in the UK.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
· Organise events and workshops, including scheduling venues, catering, liaising with speakers and/or delivery partners, payments and bookings
· Collate content and liaise with content providers for monthly newsletter
· Manage relationship with our Go-to-businesses and collate content for monthly features
· Efficiently compile bookings for events and workshops
· Manage CRM system ensuring accurate data entry & reporting
· Undertake administrative support to partnerships (e.g. Grassland Society, Meadows, Farm Herefordshire) including collating minutes for steering group meetings, management of customer databases, promotion of events.
· Working closely with our Managing Director and Finance Officer to support administration and compilation of grant claims.
· Office management including filing, maintaining office supplies and equipment inventory
· Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism
· Support the Hub team members in answering enquiries from farming and rural businesses
