Based in South Belfast, our client is currently seeking a strong Administrator with the potential to be trained up into Dispatch Clerk role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong admin skills to step into a role where training would be provided.
This is a customer focussed role – you will liaise with customers, transport, sales and operations personnel to ensure efficient dispatch of goods to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all despatch duties in an efficient and effective manner.
- Deal with customers in a helpful and courteous manner whilst maintaining high levels of professionalism at all times
- Schedule deliveries to maximise efficiency of loads
- Review allocation of loads to ensure planned as per customer schedule
- Coordinating customer deliveries with the relevant customer and Internal Sales
- Keep the dispatch office tidy and secure
- Record and pass on customer sales enquiries to the appropriate department
- Record customers complaints and pass on to relevant manager to deal with effectively
Criteria:
- Strong administrative experience with a willingness to learn
- Proficient in MS Office with a good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Valid driving licence.
- Previous dispatch / logistics experience is desirable
