3 days per week (hours can be split across days), 10.00am – 6.00pm
£24,000 - £28,000 p.a pro rata (£14,400 – £16,800)
We are looking for an efficient and enthusiastic administrator who is passionate about music and interested in supporting the work of an ambitious and independent charitable Foundation.
You will have proven finance, IT, organisational, and communication skills in a similar or related environment.
You will have a broad and up-to date knowledge of new music and the challenges that music creators are facing in the current climate. You will be excited about the opportunity of contributing to a small, dynamic organisation. You will be able to work effectively in a busy, hands-on role.
As a Foundation employee, we would expect you to operate as a collaborative, inclusive and respectful team player, championing and keeping up to date with the broad range of programmes the Foundation delivers whilst inspiring colleagues to support and champion the work you are directly responsible for. We expect staff to be passionate and driven team-players who can also represent the Foundation positively at events.

Experience:
- More than one year’s experience of working in a busy environment
- Proven ability to work flexibly and positively as part of a small team
- Knowledge of the music sector and talent development
- Understanding of equal opportunities practice
Skills:
- High level and ability in numeracy skills
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of issues surrounding the handling of sensitive financial data
- Skilful prioritisation and attention to detail when under pressure of deadlines and conflicting demands
- Ability to work methodically and consistently on detailed tasks
- Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, social media, web-based communications and database management
