Affordable Housing Co-Ordinator

We are currently working with a highly respected housebuilder to appoint an Affordable Housing Co-ordinator to work with their Affordable Housing partners and ensure the smooth transfer of homes. The business produces circa 100 affordable unit’s each year alongside their open market sales. Responsibilities include:

• Working as part of the land and planning team you will play a key role, tendering, negotiating and securing the delivery of the affordable plots for the region
• Overseeing the instruction of legal personnel to complete contracts for each plot, logging and progressing
• Liaising with the commercial department you will confirm colour choices for the properties and manage the provision of extras (additional lighting etc)
• Work with the construction team to ensure projected build dates are achieved, managing the handover of homes & ensuring they are to the expected standard
• Develop a strong relationship and liaise with the housing associations throughout the build programme, ensuring they are aware of progress

This role would suit an organised, detailed focussed individual with great communication skills and the ability to ‘chivvy’ up the process, ensuring a smooth and timely completion. A background within housebuilding would be very advantageous, you could perhaps be a PA or sales negotiator who wants to take a new direction, full training will be given and the opportunity to progress your career in the future is very real.
