Area Manager

We are actively recruiting for a strong and experienced Nursery Area Manager in Oxford & surrounding area(s) to compliment our continued growth. This newly created role would suit someone who shares the same passion as us and is looking for an abundance of growth and personal progression.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Support settings in achieving high standards of care and education.
• Provide ongoing support for managers.
• Role modelling best practice for staff.
• Manage the performance of nursery managers.
• Ensure management are implementing all policies and procedures as required.
• Develop open and positive working relationships.
• Agree and review nursery targets and objectives with nursery managers.
• Recruit and support the recruitment of teams.
• Have a good knowledge of current documentation and legislation.
• Overall management of Health and safety.
• Understand the funding model for Local Authority and how to implement it.
• Liaise with council regarding the processes and systems that nurseries should implement.
• Develop new policies and procedures when necessary.
• Develop and deliver training to management and teams.
• Monitor the nurseries progress in reaching national priorities.
• Lead managers meetings.
• Monitor and promote equality.
• Ensure managers are compliant with nurseries, Values and Aims.
• Lead the nursery in their self-evaluation and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure managers are actively promoting the nurseries and participating in marketing activities.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed.
