Assistant Accountant - Central London/hybrid working - Temporary - Up to £22 p/h
nMy client, a tech company with operations in Central London, is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant for a temporary assignment for their growing London office. The successful candidate will report directly into the Financial Controller and for the following tasks. You will be required to work in the office two days a week.
nKey responsibilities:

- AR/AP management, processing/issuing invoices while ensuring proper and appropriate controls and processes management on behalf of the finance function n
- Processing and arranging payment of staff expenses n
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns n
- Monthly Intrastat returns n
- Setting up any ad hoc payments n
- Entering invoices and prepayment journals n
- Credit control n
- Bank reconciliations n
- Implement strong internal processes and controls with free rein to implement, automate and improve the finance function and its systems n
- Ad hoc financial tasks at the request of the Financial Controller n
Key skills:
n- n
- ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent n
- Previous experience as a part qualified accountant or equivalent n
- Excellent communication skills and able to work well under pressure n
- Excel skills essential. Excellent numerical, accuracy and attention to detail n
