Wexel Gaming are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join their team and help drive their continued success.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately input financial data, including invoices, expenses, payments, and transactions, into accounting systems or spreadsheets
• Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts, and ledgers to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Support the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and statements for review by senior management
• Help with accounts receivable by generating invoices and tracking customer payments
• Stay informed about accounting principles, regulations, and compliance standards to ensure the company’s financial practices align with legal requirements
• Work collaboratively with other departments, providing financial information or support as needed

PERSON

• Along with the skills below, you will ideally be AAT qualified to a minimum of level 3
• Proficiency in bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, maintaining financial records, reconciliations, and handling accounts receivable
• A fundamental understanding of accounting principles, including knowledge of debits and credits, basic financial statements, and GAAP
• Experience with Sage 50 accounting and proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, spreadsheets, and financial reporting
• Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills, to interact with team members, clients, and to present financial information clearly and concisely
