Reed Accountancy & Finance are working with a hugely successful and rapidly expanding business in Co Tyrone and have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join their busy finance team.
This is a full time permanent opportunity, office based.
The Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, and working as part of a team of 11 employees, the Assistant Accountant will manage all aspects of a complex, multi-currency purchase ledger, VAT Returns and bank reconciliations.
More specific duties will involve:
• Assist in preparation of monthly VAT returns
• Assist in preparation of EC arrivals and Intrastat returns
• Dealing with accounts payable
• Reconcile company bank accounts
The Person:
Candidates will have previous accounts experience together with a good understanding of the overall accounting function.
Candidates will have strong MS Excel skills.
Salary £25’000 - £28,000 per annum dependent on experience.
