Sanderson are currently recruiting for a Commercial Modelling Manager to join our client in either Birmingham, Warrington or Manchester, working around 2-3 days per week in the office. it is an exciting opportunity to join their Commercial and Procurement directorate.
You will play a key role in designing and implementing commercial models, taking the lead in delivering them with a consistently high-quality approach. This support is crucial for aligning with the specific commercial and procurement strategy.
Key Responsibilities;
- Support the compilation and delivery of commercial models, ensuring alignment with the organisations commercial interests, corporate goals, objectives, and strategy.
- Collaborate closely within the team to oversee the commercial and financial assessment processes, aiding in the compilation of well-informed business decisions.
- Champion the Wellbeing, Health, and Safety Strategy, consistently enhancing the performance in wellbeing, health, and safety. Ensure that staff and partners adhere to effective practices for continuous improvement.
- Gain insight into procurement priorities and identify potential risks that could impede the successful delivery of commercial models. This understanding will facilitate the implementation of mitigating actions to enhance the overall effectiveness of the procurement program.
- Develop the Commercial Modelling relationships with all stakeholders.
Experience and Knowledge Required;
- Experience of working within commercial teams including matrix management at some level
- Proven track record in maximizing value-for-money outcomes when utilizing public funds.
- Familiarity and knowledge of NEC forms of contract, coupled with hands-on experience in tendering and procurement utilizing NEC contract formats.
- Proficient in identifying cost drivers for conducting cost comparisons in an infrastructure setting, with a background in utilizing cost capture, analysis, and translating findings into actionable intelligence.

- Professional qualified, or working towards RICS, CInstCES or equivalent.
Salary between £36,720 - £41,180
