SalarySouthwark PlayhouseYoung Company is a weekly drama group for young people living in Southwark and Lambeth aged 8 - 18 and aims to provide:
- A series of weekly drama workshops at the theatre. Led by professional director/facilitator, these develop participants' skills, confidence and abilities, and provide them with an opportunity to meet others with similar interests.
- The development of a number of pieces of theatre performed by the group at Southwark Playhouse and, where appropriate, at others venues in the local community.
Our brand new 8 - 10 Young Company will meet every Tuesday from 4.00 - 5.30pm at Southwark Playhouse, launching on Tuesday 20th February.
We are seeking an Assistant Director, to support the lead Young Company Directors. This role is specifically aimed at individuals at an early stage of their career as an arts/drama facilitator looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
The Young Company runs concurrent with school terms. The role has plenty of opportunity for someone to put their own stamp on it.
The fee per workshops is £75.
