Job Title: Assistant Estates Manager
Location: Holborn, London
Salary: Up to 40,000 per annum
Role Summary:
A leading UK managing agent with a multi bn portfolio, are looking for an Assistant Estates Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a 141,000 sq.ft estate, consisting of 4 office buildings, 6 residential units, 3 retail units, and a communal roof terrace. In collaboration with the Building Manager, you will contribute to the effective management of the property and services team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high levels of client engagement and customer service.
- Manage contractors, security staff, and 3rd party contractors with a focus on expenditure and compliance.
- Represent the Estate and managing agent in supporting the Front of House (FOH) function for occupiers and visitors.
- Engage with occupiers to enhance satisfaction, retention, and occupier forums, meetings, placemaking, and V2 initiatives.
- Support the preparation of service charge budgets
- Control and oversee contractors on-site
- Collaborate with the Sustainability Team
- Provide administrative support to the Building Management Team.
- Authorize and review supplier payments
- Assist in completing various reports and presentations
- Sustainability and health and safety.
- Monitor statutory and internal compliance, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, RICS and ISO standards, and statutory timelines.
Skills:
- IOSH Essential certification.
- Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone, and via email.
- Time management and excellent organizational skills.
- Proactive and flexible attitude to changes in the company, IT systems, and the role.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication at various levels.
- Effective PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft and Google packages.
Experience and Salary:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar operational role within a multi-let/multi-site portfolio or property agency/management background.
Salary Range (Based on Experience):
