Form of workGleeson Recruitment Group is supporting a group finance function with their need to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. The successful Assistant Financial Accountant will be joining a newly established function, adding to the growth of the business.
This is a remote role with occasional travel to sites. Salary circa £30,000 - £32,000 per annum.
Must be AAT qualified or working toward ACCA/CIMA.

Assistant Financial Accountant Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of stat accounts and VAT returns
- Monthly ban reconciliations and cashflow forecasting
- Assist with month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with year end audit
- Support on budget planning, forecasting and consolidation of management accounts
- Support business partnering on the overheads
Skills required:
- Analytical with great attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Proficient user of Excel and other MS packages
