Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a great business in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit an Assistant Group Financial Accountant on a full time permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of statutory group accounts; including key liaison with the local finance team and regional leads
- Perform monthly reconciliations on balance sheet accounts
- Reconcile intercompany positions between entities
- Complete the preparation and filing of individual entity accounts, including dormant entities
- Support the external audit process and liaise with auditors as needed
- Involvement in ad hoc projects, to support both Group finance and local finance teams
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and industry regulations
Person Specification:
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels within the organisation
- Great organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
