About this Role
Core Purpose
To assist the Headteacher with all aspects of leadership and management and to take responsibility of phase leader for EYFS and KS1 for managing and developing the curriculum, learning and teaching and enrichment throughout the school.
General
Actively support the Headteacher, Governors and Staff in the promotion and achievement of the aims and objectives of the school.
Set high standards of classroom practice and inspiration to others.
Take responsibility for the leadership of the school’s provision for disadvantaged learners.
Assist the Headteacher in maintaining and developing a positive and constructive partnership with parents and the local community.
Undertake any professional duties, which may be delegated by the Head Teacher.
Take responsibility of phase leader for EYFS and KS1.
Lead on Phonics and Early Reading Act as a deputy designated safeguarding lead.
Lead spirituality across the school Act as an ECT mentor.
