Assistant Headteacher Required for September 2024 with responsibility for SEND and EYFS.
Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated Assistant Headteacher to take on the responsibility of SEND and EYFS at Holy Family from September 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to lead on an area and phase within the school. This position is non class based over a period of 4 or 5 working days with some teaching responsibility with dedicated management time.
We are looking for someone who has:
• an understanding and respect for the Catholic ethos of our school
• a record of good or outstanding classroom practice
• high standards and expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
• is creative, enthusiastic and passionate about teaching Early Years children
• will be a committed member of our Early Years and Leadership Team
• has experience of working with children in Early Years
• has the ability to observe, assess and plan for children’s individual development especially for pupils with additional needs
• excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
• national SENCO Award accreditation or willingness to undertake this award within two years
• a vision to really drive SEND provision and inclusion forward at Holy Family
