Hours: 35 hours per week - we are also 'Happy to Talk Flexible Working’

Contract Type: 12-month fixed term contract

Location: Hybrid working - a mixture of home and office working at our office in Speke, Liverpool.

What will your role be?

As the Assistant Management Accountant you will assist the Finance team with a variety of tasks such as processing journals, month-end tasks, calculating and explaining variances, and working with budget holders. You’ll ensure accurate records and internal controls are maintained, and assist with accounts payable, right to buy administration and rent recording duties.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have a good standard of secondary education (including English and Maths GCSE Grade C/4 or above) and have a minimum of 3 A-Levels. You will have experience of working within a finance environment, and be able to successfully prioritise your workload whilst dealing with conflicting priorities. You’ll have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Excel, and have an understanding of general ledger postings and reconciliations.
