Join Brett as an Assistant Management Accountant, providing key support to two of our businesses. Working within our close-knit finance team, you will assist in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial information.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to develop their skills and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
Your Role
- Ensure the accounting for revenue, materials, overheads and plant costs is controlled and reported in an accurate, timely and complete manner. This includes accruals, prepayments and recharges in these areas.
- Maintain fixed asset registers.
- Ensure that all relevant balance sheet accounts are reconciled and understood.
- Work with the Finance Manager to continually improve processes relevant to this role.
- Participate in the forecast and budget process.
About You
- Part qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA
- Communicate effectively and proactively with stakeholders both within and outside of the finance function.
- Good interpersonal skills with an ability to liaise with other Finance team members as well as operational and commercial colleagues.
- Proactively seek solutions to problems and constantly look for opportunities to improve the control environment and therefore the service delivered by the finance function.
- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
