Your new role
The tasks of this role are varied and offer wide exposure to the tasks of the finance team. You will be responsible for the management accounts of the company, completing month-end and year-end closes including prepayments, accruals, and reconciliations. You will work alongside the budgeting team assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting, and completing analysis on current expenses compared against the budget. You will be working with the AP function, paying suppliers in weekly payment runs and handling all employee expenses. These tasks will be completed individually and together with various others within the finance function of the company.
What you\'ll need to succeed
An ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working in a finance team in the fintech or financial services industry. You will be either qualified AAT or have an accounting and finance degree with ACCA or CIMA exemptions. You will have strong Excel skills and be comfortable with various accounting softwares. You will be able to complete all end-to-end AP duties and have experience with month-end accounting tasks including reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, and monthly/quarterly reporting. You will be detail oriented and organised with strong problem-solving and time-management skills. You must be able to complete work within set deadlines, working with other teams and alone.
