Assistant Manager
Established almost 50 years ago, our client is a very successful retail operation with multiple stores across the country.
Our client has ambitious plans, and a major recruitment drive across the business. This latest vacancy is for a Retail Assistant Manager for their branch in Co Meath. This is an exceptional opportunity to take a leading role in the organisation.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure high merchandising standards and general store appearance.
- Develop seasonal visual displays and promotions.
- Ensure all team members are fully trained and possess the correct product knowledge.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to your team.
- Drive a customer centric approach to achieve customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
- Ensure team understanding of their responsibilities and tasks.
- Respond to customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained.
- Cash management and back-office processes as required.
Some of your background and skills should include:
- Excellent team leadership skills.
- An ability to instil high standards throughout the store.
- Previous team management experience.
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar position.
- Strong merchandising skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A team player and role model that will lead by example.
- Strong team coaching skills.
